Lynn is a lecturer in cultural policy and cultural industries at the Centre for Cultural Policy Research, University of Glasgow. She is interested in the pathways between policy, production and audience in media industries. Her PhD examined the contemporary production of children’s PSB using BBC Scotland Children’s Department as an extended case study and she is editor of The Children’s Media Yearbook, published annually by the Children’s Media Foundation.
Her current research examines purchasing within children’s online games and the policy processes regulating the UK games industry. She is a trustee of the VLV and a fellow of the RSA.
