Helen is a Doctoral student at the University of Glasgow. Her research interests are innovation, entrepreneurship and clusters within the creative industries. She has a BA Honours (First Class) in Marketing and a MRes in Research Methodology in Business and Management. She is undertaking a Ph.D. under an Economic and Social Research council studentship, focusing on business model innovation in independent video games firms, particularly the adoption of proprietary intellectual property models.
In 2013 Helen was awarded an ESRC internship with Creative England to work on Cluster2020 as part of the European Creative Industries Alliance and she has participated in the Doctoral Winter School at the Australian Research Council’s CCI at QUT.
